Battle Royale

La firme anglaise Arrow a dévoilé les noms des titres de son line-up d'avril 2021 et le moins que l’on puisse dire c’est que cette future salve s'annonce très bien. Parmi les six films annoncés, on s’intéressera particulièrement aux éditions Ultra HD de Donnie Darko et Battle Royale qui bénéficieront d’un tout nouveau transfert 4K qu’il nous tarde de découvrir, surtout dans le cas du classique de Kinji Fukasaku dont les masters HD s’avèrent vraiment faiblards. Chacune des œuvres sera proposée conjointement dans son montage cinéma et sa version « extended » tandis que les suppléments réuniront des commentaires audio, des making of et des featurettes en pagaille. Le tout dans de beaux digipack aux visuels spécialement créés pour l’occasion. Que demande le peuple ?
