Tous ceux qui ont subi l’affreux master dont a pâti eXistenZ depuis sa sortie en VHS (oui, ça date !) seront ravis d’apprendre que les Américains Vinegar Syndrome viennent de se fendre d’un Blu-ray 4K attendu dans les bacs le 30 janvier prochain. Cette édition proposera un transfert fraichement remasterisé et dont les premières images enfoncent jusqu’au cou son prédécesseur. Du côté des bonus, la seconde galette fera honneur au travail de David Cronenberg et son équipe par le biais d’une armada d’entretiens filmés et d’un documentaire/making of passionnant intitulé Frame by Frame : The Invisible Art of Production Designer Carol Spier.
