Si Jason va en enfer est loin de faire l’unanimité auprès des fans de la saga Vendredi 13 (pas assez de Jason, trop de surnaturel), il bénéficie cependant du soutien indéfectible de bon nombre de cinéphages qui seront ravis de posséder la galette 4K que leur a préparé Arrow. L’éditeur a en effet annoncé la sortie, le 20 mai, d’un collector proposant des copies Ultra HD restaurées des deux cuts connus  de la séquelle d’Adam Marcus  : la version salles (outrancièrement censurée) et le montage uncut (gore au possible) découvert ensuite en VHS NTSC. Évidemment, la firme anglaise s’est fendue d’une salve d’entretiens exclusifs qui viendront s’ajouter au bonus (commentaire audio, making of, scènes coupées) que l’on pouvait déjà voir sur l’intégrale Vendredi 13 parue en Blu-ray chez Shout Factory.
