Avant de devenir l’un des scénaristes, producteurs et réalisateurs les plus courtisés d’Hollywood, James Gunn(Superman) a fait ses débuts chez les New-Yorkais de Troma, où il a appris les ficelles du métier en écrivant notamment le très trash Tromeo & Juliet. Bonne nouvelle : le film de Lloyd Kaufman va bientôt avoir droit à sa première galette en 4K sous la bannière de Vinegar Syndrome, qui lui a préparé une édition collector à paraître ce mois-ci. Transfert 2160p remasterisé d’après le négatif original, bonus en pagaille (commentaires audio, making of…) : ce disque attendu aux États-Unis devrait réunir tous les ingrédients pour satisfaire les fans de la compagnie culte des années 80/90, même si Gunn n’a pas participé à la série de nouveaux entretiens conçus pour l’occasion. Dommage.
