Connu pour être la première production de la firme New Line, le sympathique Alone in the Dark (alias Déments) est désormais disponible en haute définition sous l’impulsion de Shout! Factory. L’éditeur américain s’est ainsi fendu d’un Blu-ray collector ô combien bienvenu puisqu’il inclut un transfert 1080p restauré en 2K d’après un interpositif ainsi qu’une série de bonus exclusifs. En plus du commentaire audio enregistré par Jack Sholder pour le DVD, cette galette permet ainsi de glaner quelques featurettes inédites qui donneront notamment la parole au scénariste & réalisateur mentionné précédemment.
