Sorti en 1987 au cinéma, Street Trash n’a rien perdu de son aura culte, comme en témoignent les multiples éditions vidéo qui paraissent régulièrement sur le marché. Bonne nouvelle : une édition 4K paraîtra le 27 avril au Royaume-Uni sous la houlette de Lightbulb, qui vient d’annoncer un Blu-ray Ultra HD dont le transfert devrait restituer à merveille l’aspect volontairement sale du classique de Jim Muro. La section bonus se montrera quant à elle bien fournie, avec la présence de multiples commentaires audio et autres documentaires, parmi lesquels le tout nouveau From Spookies to Street Trash, où le producteur Frank M. Farel reviendra sur sa carrière dans la série B horrifique.
