Souvent critiqué (à juste titre) pour son étalonnage bleuté révisionniste et son remontage injustifié, Cruising va bientôt bénéficier d’un Blu-ray 4K Ultra HD qui reviendra à la version cinéma que le grand William Friedkin n’avait de cesse de rectifier au gré de ses humeurs. L’éditeur anglais Arrow a en effet restauré le négatif original pour proposer un transfert qui devrait s’avérer supérieur à celui (trop numérisé) que nous connaissons déjà. Tous les bonus présents sur les précédentes galettes seront également inclus pour l’occasion, faisant sans doute de cette future parution l’édition définitive du classique du regretté Friedkin.
