Toujours est-il que sur ce lien (qui est officiel), la qualité est parfaite. C'est selon moi clairement de la HD et ça parait pas pourri du tout (rematez-vous cette horreur de Blair Witch pour vous en convaincre).
Mais bon, à l'époque j'avais über-kiffé la présentation (on disait pas encore trailer à l'époque)(c'était le bon temps) de Independance Day...
J'ai autrement déchanté à la vue du truc complet. Wait & See (la phrase bannie d'un forum preview).
Cette Bande annonce fait assurément son petit effet. Le fait d'opter pour un style d'image "amateur" permet de nous plonger directement dans l'action. L'identification avec les personnages et du coup plus poussé. Reste à voir si ça tiendra sur la longeur d'un film d'1h30/2H sans devoir fournir les sacs à vomi à l'entrée du cinema

Le film fait amateur mais les SFX eux sont top et bien integrés , du coup le film type amateur rend les sfx trés réaliste, c'est un traitement nouveau pour ce genre de film me semble t'il.
Comme une catastrophe très bien filmé .

Perso la bande annonce me donne pas du tout mal à la tête et je trouve qu'en terme de teasing c'est excellent.
Et en terme de titilling ?
Moi je trouve qu'en terme de Buzzing on dirait que ça fonctionne.

Ben woé mais c'est voulu, étant donné que c'est censé être filmé par un des mecs de la teuf, ça a un côté "réaliste" (enfin à l'intérieur de l'action quoi), du coup ça me paraît plutôt réussi.

j'aime bien ce genre de promo où on crée un buzz sans surtout parler du film.
Abrams et ses copains (sauf Génébule qui a un mot d'excuse) avait bien bossé avec le jeu de piste autour de la série Lost.
Je trouve ça assez fort de faire plus que tu titilling: ils poussent les curieux à faire des recherches sur leur film, ou à se balader sur les sites mystères à venir.
Ou alors, c'est juste le film d'un mec bourré à une soirée qui a payé d'autres mecs bourés pour faire sauter la statue de la liberté. après tout c'était un cadeau de ces damnés frenchies.

Même si dans les différentes nouvelles il est toujours question de chaos rampant, de risque de fin du monde et d'effondrement de la race humaine, jamais Cthulhu et ses petits copains n'apparaissent à découvert devant des millions de personnes.
Les histoires se déroulent toujours dans des lieux très reculés : une bourgade perdue de la Nouvelle-Angleterre, une île déserte, les glaces de l'Antarctique, le bush australien...

Ce que je voulais dire par là, c'est que l'univers de Lovecraft ne peut pas s'accomoder de dialogues aussi explicatifs et terre-à-terre. Les Grands Anciens sont des entités tellement puissantes et autres, tellement éloignées de la réalité humaine qu'il suffit de les apercevoir pour basculer dans la folie. C'est comme dans le roman " ça " de Stephen King. Donc essayer de les représenter physiquement et dans un environnement aussi tangible que New York, ça me paraît vraiment très risqué...
Ben en même temps, tout Lovecraft, c'est "Les Temps sont proches, et les Grands Anciens vont enfin se réveillés pour détruire la civilisation humaine".
Là, on a l'air d'être clairement à l'étape suivante, dite du "Cthulhu s'est levé du pied gauche, et il lamine tout ce qui ressemble de près ou de loin à un humain".

Les grands anciens sont des divinités, pas des king kongs potentiels.Leur puissance, leur essence est cosmique et non terrienne, la terre n'étant qu'une prison ou une porte dérobée pour certains d'entre eux.Donc c'est pas seulement la civilisation terrienne qui est en danger, mais un domaine plus grand par-delà les rêves(Lumley).

Ben Lovecraft c'était y'a un siècle, entre temps Cthulhu a vu pas mal de guerres mondiales, Tchernobyl et recemment le 11 septembre, et il a peut-etre envie de se dérouiller les jambes ailleurs que dans la campagne où il se fait chier depuis des siècles.
Sinon c'est très intriguant comme trailer.

Rarement vu une photo plus bordélique. Remarque, quoi de mieux pour camoufler un fake fait à l'arrache ? Yup, tout ça parce que sur la première version dispo du teaser, celle avec la bande audio quasi inaudible, certains étaient persuadés d'avoir entendu "it's a lion" au lieu d'"it's alive"....
Donc Lion = Voltron dans l'esprit des abrutis d'AICN, et à partir de là, ça s'est répandu.
(Genre Voltron, ils en feraient un film au budget tout pitit, tourné par un inconnu, et avec une promo totalement mystérieuse)

Surtout que le concept (pas juste "suivre le personnage", mais je veux dire "facon vidéo amateur" et tout le bazar) ressemble typiquement à une fausse bonne idée pour du long métrage. Ca peut être bien fait, mais je ne vois pas plusieurs dizaines de films reprendre le truc sans que ca lasse.
Comme Flitchy, j'ai mes doutes... en plus Balaguero il aime bien la belle image alors je sais pas si il accepte un carcan aussi contraignant à ce niveau.

Le projet était excitant d'autant que comme Balaguero on nous propose de suivre un film de genre caméra à l'épaule avec vidéos amateurs mais là d'un coup,
Mais vous en êtes vraiment sûrs de ça ? Y a les notes d'intention du projet qui ont été dévoilées quelque part ?
Je le répète, tant qu'on aura pas un vrai trailer on pourra pas savoir si c'est juste un choix, judicieux, pour le teaser ou bien comme certains le pensent, la façon dont sera réalisée tout le métrage.
Surtout que le concept (pas juste "suivre le personnage", mais je veux dire "facon vidéo amateur" et tout le bazar) ressemble typiquement à une fausse bonne idée pour du long métrage. Ca peut être bien fait, mais je ne vois pas plusieurs dizaines de films reprendre le truc sans que ca lasse.
Comme Flitchy, j'ai mes doutes... en plus Balaguero il aime bien la belle image alors je sais pas si il accepte un carcan aussi contraignant à ce niveau.
HS mais personne n'est allé à Sitgès cette année, y'avait REC de présenter.
En fait, je parle du Balaguero car en France, il sera distribué par Wild Side.
Et dans leur line-up il est bien indiqué que le film sera monté de cette manière.

another reason why i think its this paticular monster, no body really knows his true form, just alot of peoples opinion, so JJ Abrams could make him anyway HE wanted, which i think is what he really wanted to do, make a monster he could call his own, but America could still relate with.

Sinon, les rumeurs parlent d'un film de monstre + film de zombie-parasite-invasion des profanateurs-like.
Question technique, il parait qu'il y'a deux personnages qui filment, un gars et une nana.
Bah pour une fois le fake n'est pas complétement dégueu (après coup l'élement qui vend la méche c'est surtout le gus qui semble avoir été tiré d'une photo numérique lambda) ou moche...
C'est vrai qu'en y regardant de plus près, il y a quelques finitions qui chient dans la colle.
