ayant vu le 2 en bluray aujourd'hui, j'attends impatiemment une prequelle ou une suite a ces 2 chefs d'oeuvres

Mouai, fallait s'y attendre à un préquel mais je ne sais pas si c'est une bonne chose. On en apprend assez pour le coup dans le deux. Un préquel ne servirait qu'à ruiner le 2nd et proposer un film inintéressant.

Par contre REC Apocalypse, YABON!!

REC 2 has only been in theaters for two weeks, but director Paco Plaza is already hard at work on the franchise’s third film, the prequel Rec: Genesis. Plaza co-wrote the script with Luis Berdejo and it focuses on how this whole virus got out to begin with. I imagine Dr. Owen (Jonathan David Mellor), the priest introduced in REC 2, will be at the center of the story. He’s the guy in the forefront of this very first image from Genesis posted on Shock Till You Drop. The man in the background is Juan Albelda (Jose Mellinas). We’ve never seen him before, but we do know of his father, Father Albeda who’s mentioned in REC 2.

So what’s going on in this image? I’m not positive, but it kind of looks like they’re strapped into some sort of carnival ride. Perhaps that could account for the blurriness. Plus, I’m pretty sure that’s a Ferris wheel with lights in the background. What would this mean? I’ve got no clue, but getting a glimpse at some of the action does make the fall of 2011 not feel like ages away.

L'American Film Market, comme tout marché du film, permet d'en apprendre plus sur toutes les productions bientôt sur nos écrans. Le réalisateur Paco Plaza y est d'ailleurs présent pour vendre les deux prochains épisodes de Rec. Au programme, toujours plus de contamination, un virus qui se déploie à grande-échelle, et une menace encore plus soutenue. Nous n'avons pas fini de hurler !

L'équpe originale de Rec semble heureuse de reprendre ces projets et on apprend que ces deux nouveaux chapitres seront tournés dans un style cinématographique plus traditionnel, même si les origines vidéos de la saga ne seront pas oubliées. Plusieurs points de vue seront à l'oeuvre avec plusieurs sources vidéo.
L'action de Rec 3 : Genesis se passe après les événements précédents. Délaissant les atmosphères claustrophobiques du huis clos pour des lieux ouverts en journée. La terreur franchit un nouveau palier. Le troisième film proposera de décoder les ultimes mystères des deux premiers films, tout en amenant les événements de Rec 4 : Apocalypse, ce qui en dit long sur le contenu prévu.

Ca tourne quand même bien à la SAW cette saga, quand même. Va falloir que j'arrête de penser qualité en allant voir ces suites pour plutôt m'axer sur la générosité et "l'awkwardess"...

Les deux premiers sont excellent, mais je sais pas si on peux vraiment dire que ca part en Sawcette pour l'instant. On verra si le scénar du 3 tiens la route. Déjà c'est plus une préquelle, bon point! Ensuite, s'ils décident de "tout" expliquer dans le 3, ce qui n'est pas une super idée amha, on pourra faire un 4ème opus réellement apocalyptique. Par contre, ca risque de rentrer en guerre contre 28 mois plus tard, enfin, lorsqu'on aura un jour la date de sortie des deux films

First Casting News: [REC] Genesis

The first new cast members to hop aboard the unlikely yet totally kick-ass [REC] franchise have been named, and you know what that means ... we're that much closer to [REC] Genesis finally getting made!

According to Bloody Disgusting Leticia Dolera (pictured right) - who ironically played a reporter in the [REC] spoof Spanish Movie - and Diego Martin will topline the film that's shooting to be completed in 2011.

[REC] directors Paco Plaza and Jaume Balaguero will split directing responsibilities for the next two films in the franchise, [REC] Genesis and [REC] Apocalypse.

Plaza will direct the first film, [REC] Genesis, which will return to the origin of the original infection that caused humans to turn into zombies. The film is expected to be delivered in the autumn of 2011. [REC] Apocalypse will be directed by Balaguero and will end the [REC] saga with the pandemic spreading to unknown proportions. Plaza will assist on the project, which is expected to be delivered in the autumn of 2012.

The action in [REC] GENESIS encompasses the events of the first two films and after the sense of claustrophobia previously experienced. The action now takes place miles away from the original location and partly in broad daylight, giving the film an entirely fresh yet disturbing new reality. The infection has left the building. In a clever twist that draws together the plots of the first two movies, this third part of the saga also works as a decoder to uncover information hidden in the first two films and leaves the door open for the final installment - the future [REC] Apocalypse.
