Bon Resistance 2 c'est plié. J'ai juste adoré le jeux, ses références, ses changements d'atmosphères etc. Par contre, la vf est juste pourrie...

En se promenant sur la route, un joueur a carrément vu un panneau publicitaire pour Resistance 3. Les images semblent tout à fait réelles. Le logo du jeu indique que l’action se déroulera à New York. Insomniac est toujours le développeur.

Comment expliquer que des publicités du jeu existent alors qu’il n’a même pas encore été annoncé ? Tout indique que Columbia Pictures, qui appartient à Sony, tourne présentement le film Battle: Los Angeles. La publicité doit donc possiblement apparaître dans le film, dont le lancement est prévu le 18 février 2011. Le but est de promouvoir le jeu via un film. Soit Resistance 3 sera disponible depuis quelques mois (fin de l’année 2010) ou encore son lancement est prévu au début de 2011.

Resistance 3 finally announced in Cologne

Sony’s finally announced Resistance 3 during its gamescom press conference in Cologne tonight.

A trailer was shown of the Insomniac shooter sequel at the event, beginning with a train going through a countryside, before showing a gun being readied in a destroyed landscape town.

People on the train are then seen clasping their hands in fear, before gunfire erupts and the Chimera emerged.

The reveal will finally put gamers at ease in regards to the game after first being outed in a billboard last year, followed then by a retail listing in July.

No date other then 2011.

We've actually seen the game running but we're sworn to secrecy. What we can say is that Resistance 3 looks to be far more claustrophobic than what we've seen, with twisting streets hiding Chimera around every turn. New weapons look ace and there are a few new tricks up the alien-invaders scaly sleeves to really keep you on your toes. And that's about all we can say. Sorry. We'll have loads more news as soon as the embargo lifts, but for now check out the rest of the screenshots to get yourself in the mood for some alien-slaying.

* Capelli will be willing to do anything to protect his wife and child in the game
* The development process is going steadily for the game however, the HUD is mostly empty right now and the design and modelling of weapons is not over.
